Loved the mysterious design on http://www.pottermore.com/ AND I was waiting for JUNE 23 to know what exactly it is?

Could it to be a new HP game?  could it be a new website from JKR?  Why would JKR announce a game release? and on youtube? If it were a game – she would have been announced it in a gaming conference such as E3 or something!

Secret Street View- a Google Maps-powered puzzle game that announced that it isn’t a new book, but it is something equally exciting. Secret Street View puzzle site revealed the letters “POTTERMORE”.

I love OWLS. Virtual OWLS not the REAL ones.

JK Rowling  has promised a new experience, an exciting online experience around the reading of the Harry Potter books. Hmmm Read the book again in PDF format? why would anybody wanna pay more money to read the same stuff ?? Hope the experience makes a difference.

I hope ‘The Future’ isn’t a post apocalyptic zone with masked people running around killing zombies. Hmm wait that doesn’t sound bad at all, killing zombies with pump-action shotgun ‘FOR REAL’ [Left4dead style!]. It would also be super-awesome if I meet a girl like zoey!

Zoey, is a university student in the action packed LEFT4DEAD game who fights off the zombies (living humans who have been infected with a rabies-like virus that causes psychosis).  She is really cute and she’s not just a game character, it turns out that she’s actually based on a real person. Her name is Sonja Kinski.

Anyways what would really piss me off is when I step into the future and — find people wearing lady gaga kind of cloths, Justin Bieber is the new King of POP, Hugh Hefner still alive and partying, Ram gopal verma movies in 4D, Golmaal 25. When I imagine the future I see a technologically advanced world and not a devastated wonderland like the one in fallout3 where only scattered elements of technology remain.

I really do hope there are other people in the world and I don’t want to be the ‘Last Human on Earth‘(Like Will Smith in I am Legend). When I visit the future- ‘My mind should be blown away‘ by new technologies, architectures, climate. I hope the moon’s been invaded and we finally got in touch with Aliens. Hmmm about aliens, Aliens are portrayed as some slimy monsters killing Humans on sight. I really don’t buy that crap! Aliens should be more like ‘CJ7’ – cute, furry with magical powers.

Last year I saw a Chinese movie called “CJ7” and every time I come across the term ‘aliens’ I imagine it to be like CJ7.

CJ7 is a super cute- tiny little alien with rubber legs and a wagging antenna, and makes bleep-bleep sound!

Check the trailer of the CJ7. The movie is a funny tale about doing the right thing, and about getting a second chance in life. Watch this movie – I think you’ll thank me for this one!

I imagine The Future to be a place where all mankind will be same, human being will live with peace and love. No bombs and guns, no personal property rights, no rent, no interest, no profit, no boss, no servant, no master, no employee, no news paper, no court, no police.

Only PEACE, harmony and all good stuffs.. Err .. I’ll carry my pump-action shotgun – Just to be on a safer side.

Guys we need to learn Malayalam, and I know learning Malayalam in 3 days is a tough task but we can’t always depend on Syril and Siddharth’s Malayalam speaking powers and trusting these guys is HIGHLY DANGEROUS !!

Why?

Let me tell you a short story which happened in college:

One fine Monday afternoon, I was sitting like a sweet innocent boy and was playing snake on my fone, Sidda suddenly had a brilliant idea of bunking KR‘s class. I said “Hell no dude .. It’s freakin KR man .. NOOO” .. but he convinced me to bunk and we both left the class before KR came in. But DAMN .. KR saw us leaving the class and caught us .. The way KR looked at me I thought I was going to DIE! Thank god he didn’t murder me but he looked at sidda in a more Dumbledore way!! (If you know what I mean! ) some people won’t get this one so check this Link

Moral of the short story: Never listen to SIDDA ! Never !

We have no other option – We have to learn Malayalam.

I have split them into scenarios, which can help us understand the language better, so here it goes…

Scenario #1:

You get down at wayanad and meet a few people, first thing to do when you meet a new person is to say “Hi” or you can just say “namaskaaram” (in a formal style)

PS: Just say “Hiii” in Raka’s style ! Trust me it works brilliantly !

Scenario #2:

You have to pee and it’s really urgent, and you have to ask them “where the rest room is?” They might point to a bush though !!

Let’s face it! This sentence is a real life saver !!

English: “Where is the bathroom ??”

Malayalam: “Bathroom evide ah?”

PS: And then you can ahhhhhhh in the bathroom !!!!

Scenario #3:

We are not just going there to set up a camp fire and do tribal dance around it (Hmm may be ..) but we’ll also be traveling into thick forest and there is a slight possibility of spotting elephants. They might get hyper looking at you and might even chase you !! So what should we do when that happens, run for your life and while running SCREAM so that other Keralites might come and help!!

You have to scream, “help help elephant is chasing us !!!” but how will you say this in Malayalam, check this out -

English: ” Help .. Help .. Elephant .. Elephant !”

Malayalam: “Rakshikoo .. Rakshikoo .. Aana .. Aanaaaaaaaaa !”

PS: Don’t forget to stop yelling after you have escaped from its sight .. They have long ears and might hear you and hunt you down !

Scenario #4:

You see a beautiful girl and you are head over heels in love with the girl, can’t blame you, Kerala chicks are cute (Asin, Nayanthara are Keralites !)

You can walk up to the girl and say “I love you” in a boring normal English.

Saying it in an unknown language and in a different accent is awesome. I love you in Malayalam is “Njan ninne premikkunnu” and add this “Namukku oru cinemekku pokaamo?” (Which means “can we go for a movie?”) If the girl says “Maari Pooku .. Njan ninne verukkunnu” that just means “Get lost, I hate you” .

So get back to the bus we have more places to cover !!!!!!!!

Scenario #5:

We stop by and are searching for a hotel to have lunch ? We meet a few localities and have to ask them for hotel.

English: “I am hungry, where is the hotel ?”

Malayalam: “Enikku vishakunnu, Engene enikku hotlil ettham?”

PS: If they say eh??? Go get sidda or syril to continue the conversation !!

Scenario #6:

You are standing alone in a corner and all of us are busy taking photos. Suddenly a guy grabs your bag and is running away. You have to yell “Stop .. Stop !!!!!!”

English: “Stop! Stop ! Thief ! Thief ! Police !”

Malayalam: “Nirthoooo ! Nirthoooo ! Kallan ! Kallan ! Police !” (Police is still police here)

PS: Run behind him and get your bag, we will still be taking photos so it might be difficult to help!!

Scenario #7:

You need to Pee and run to a nearby bush (Old Habits Die Hard !)

While spraying the bushes, someone from behind tries to (you know) feel you ! You have to scream !!!!!! How ???

English: “Don’t touch me ! Help! Help !”

Malayalam: “Enne thodaruthu ! Rakshikoo ! Rakshikoo !”

English: “Leave me Alone! Help!”

Malayalam: “Enne veruthe vidoo ! Rakshikoo !!”

PS: well screaming and shouting depends – if you are starting to like it then you can allow him to continue ..

I’m not very comfortable watching “Dark comedies” – They are meant to make us laugh but also instill an uneasy feeling. But “Dancing on Glass” is one of the finest plays I have ever seen. When I was watching the play, after each and every scene I wanted to stand up and applaud their performance. The stage setup was very minimalistic. I loved how the Lights were sprayed on stage .. the silent fading of the lights & the perfect blending of colors to depict the situations. Beauty!

There are 3 characters in the plot – Only 2 characters perform on stage and the other one, well you can only hear his voice. Pradeep works 48 hrs continuously in a  call center and while driving back home- crashes into a divider and a lorry runs over him and is killed. So that leaves us with Megha(Pradeep’s GF) and Shankar(Pradeep’s Roommate). The play unfolds on how the two handle this disaster, Megha tries to be practical and tries even harder to carry on with life. Shankar tries to comfort her and slowly realizes that he has always liked her. As the story progresses we see both the characters trying to get close to each other. Megha fighting against her dark demons – the guilt of forgetting her love – she questions her new found comfort ?? while shankar tries to put megha at ease and wants to be there for her. He questions his loyalty to his departed friend ??

It’s a two person play and the two manage to deliver 70 mins of power packed performance. Absolutely BRILLIANT!!!!  It’s very difficult to say who performed better.  The character abhishek stole the show though. Abhishek’s body language and specially while trying to be intimate with megha were damn funny.  but I think Megha did a wonderful job at trying not to be a cold hearted bitch Her outburst and gaalis to the firangi were amaZING !

Shankar’s phone interaction with ICICI bank executive Shruthi ashwini was hilarious. Shruthi ashwini constantly calls him and tortures him to apply for credit card and even tells him that if he applies for a credit card then he’ll get 25 grams of gold for free.

And even the part where he yells “CENTURION” !! HILARIOUS !!

I said, “it feels different, weird, i have mixed emotions, well actually its bitter sweet !!!”

It was my last day at work. It’s was time to say goodbye. But I really don’t want to do that. I know I should say “see you again” but I hate making promises I may not be able to keep. a lot of people said “keep in touch” but im really bad at keeping in touch with people !!

Goodbyes will always hurt, it hurts more when you love the people and the place .. I made some good friends here, but the good things never last long! I love my Co-workers, they’re Awesome .. absolutely sweet. I’ll be able to talk to them on IM and through email, but it’s just not the same as hitting the mute button during a frustrating call and making fun of the clients with my friends. (Lol .. done that a zillion times!!!) The fun I have had with my friends at work are definitely what I will miss the most. But, it’s time to move on, and that’s just how this whole thing goes. Like I said, it’s a bittersweet feeling.

Lots of things hit me the last day, i just realized that I had sent my last business email and will no longer have to read business/pricing mails. i just realized that I can never chat on company’s IM (Sametime) which is awesome by the way !! My last Movie download had sizzling speed — everything felt strange .. somewhere down the corner i wanted to stay back !!!

The office sent me off with a cake and well wishes. They even sang “A Happy LAST-DAY to you ” song and packed me away. I am now officially a part of the world on the unemployed !!

There are many things I’m going to miss about the office, it was truly a colorful place .. check the pics, you’ll def agree.
